Consistency is the Key : Morning Routine #1

It is very tempting as a beauty blogger to try as many products that you can possibly try in the shortest space of time.  I admit, I have found in the past that as soon as I buy a new product, I need to use it the second I get home, be it a cleanser or a serum, moisturiser, you name it.  It doesn't matter what it is I always have this 'slap it on my face right NOW' vibe when buying new skincare products.

But in reality, I'm not giving my skin a chance to get used to and adapt to a product before I'm onto the next one and I wonder why my skin is always in such disarray.  It shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that since I've adapted a routine using the same products that I've noticed a much healthier, calmer appearance to my skin.

Three Stars : Origins Faces Masks

In 2014, a lot of brands come to my attention which had never before entered onto my radar.  

One of these brands was Origins and I can't believe that my skin care routine existed without this brand.  Since discovering Origins early last year, my obsession has grown and I thought I would dedicate a whole post to three wonderful masks which will sort out most skin complaints.

New In : Space.NK Sale the Laura Mercier Edit

Further to my Aspirations for 2015 post which I wrote recently, I think I need to add 'stop buying new things' to that list.  Perhaps I'll try that for February... I was recently perusing the Space.NK website and happened to spot a few beauties by Laura Mercier in the sale. 

Laura Mercier is a brand I have been wanting to try for a while now but never getting round to it;  so when I found the Sequin Eye Colour in Twinkling Star and Lip Pencil in Praline I just thought, why not?

Soap & Glory Dr Spot - Good Skin in a Tube

Since my teenage years, there hasn't been a day since where I have not suffered from some sort of blemish.  Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration as there may well be the odd day when I can say I didn't get one but let's just say that 90% of the time, there's something going on with my skin.  That's why it's really important for me to always have a spot treatment product to hand.

3 Stars : Hard Hitting Concealers

There aren't many days when I don't need to conceal something - whether it's a bit blemish, some dark circles or just when I'm need of a little extra coverage on my skin over the top of my foundation.

There are so many concealers out there so it can be tricky picking one;  that's why I have given a run down of my favourite for the different types of concealment you may need.
